inaccessible boot device help

Here is my problem i have a Win 2000 i got in 2001 and a montor in 98 and so a week ago my computer screen went black and my keyboard and mouse stoped working so i turned it off and turned it back on my keyboard and mouse still didn't work so i turned it off again and all 3 keyboard lights were blinking and went to a blue screen saying inaccessible boot device so i read it and restarted it and when it got to the Windows 2000 NT loading screen half way through loading it goes to the blue screen. So i found the win 2000 boot disk and turned it back on and it found it and says to press any key to start the boot up and i press keys and nothing happened and goes back to the blue screen so i restarted it again and pressed F2 on my keyboard and it didn't go to the setup screen then i pressed F8 to do troubleshooting and it doesen't work. Then goes to a blue screen and it tells me to run chkdsk/f but i don't know how and the keyboard or mouse do not work. PLZ HELP ME and also if you can try and find a picture of a windows 2000 computer showing the inside of the computer. Is there a chance that all of my things are still on their if they are not can you tell me how to get all of my files back on my computer. It reads STOP:0x000007B i can't even get to the log in stage

Hi and Welcome,
First off, when you get the blue screen, what error is showing? Second, you run check disk from command prompt. Open a command prompt window (been a long time since I was on a 2000 machine, but something like start, programs etc), type chkdsk /f, with a space between chkdsk and /, no space between / and f. Third, there is a chance everything is still there, so there is hope.

It says STOP:0x000007B

If check disk doesn't work, chances are your hard drive is gone, from my research of this error. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
