Formatting

Hi all

I'm new to TSF.

I'm formatting my Toshiba satilite 4060 and dont have all the drivers I need. Is it possible to make a boot disk and copy the drivers on the system to that disk. If so, how?

Hope that makes sence I'm new to this.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Welcome to TSF.

There is a program that will do it. Go to the Downloads Section and do a search for WinDrvExpert. Use that program to gather all your drivers. This program was giving me problems before, see if it will work for you.

WinDrvExpert

Very nice little program. At first I didn't need it as windows found all hardware and installed drivers. However when I tried to set-up a printer it gave me some problems. I updated the ECP port driver using the cd I burned with the drivers WindrvExpert found and it installed the new driver. Printed worked fine after that.

That proves it works even if I didn't really need it. Having said that I might update all drivers using the cd incase there are any hidden problems.

Thanks again
