2000 pro problem, please help
Hello,
I am running a dual boot system with 98SE and 2000 pro SP3. 95% of the time I use 98SE, just occaisionally booting into 2000. 2000 has worked just fine and given no problems, so I was surprised to boot into 2000 for the first time in a week or so and find that pretty much everything was gone. The programs I had set up there and even the icons were missing. The whole thing (what is left) just doesn't work exactly right. I went back to 98 and ran a virus check on all drives with two different virus checkers and found no problem. Ran several different adware, spybot and general malware checkers. Found only the usual things, tracking cookies and such. Anyone have any idea what has happened? Thank you for any help you can give. ![]() |
