Bad_Pool_Caller W2K

While starting up, i consistently get the:
*** STOP: 0x000000c2 (0x00000041, 0x818BD000, 0x000018BD, 0x0000FFEF) BAD_POOL_CALLER
error mesage, and my w2k machine won't boot anymore. It won't boot in safe mode or any mode for that matter. I have removed new hardware (lan-card & cdrw), disabled chaching & shadowing, but nothing helps. It won't even boot from the w2k cdrom!!! The only way i can get it to work again, is by removing the hard disk, formatting it in another pc, and then installing w2k again, but, after that, it just gives me the blue screen errors again, and I'm back 2 square one. I downloaded all the updates and everything, and it does nothing. The weird thing is that it only comes with the blue screen errors when the pc has been totally shut down the first time after installing w2k (power off so to speak), after warm reboots, it boots smoothly. Anybody got any clues what's going on, and more importantly, have a solution?

Thanks!

Greetz,

P/
