Re: Blue screen error

Hi Sccbmoc,
Welcome to TSF.
Is there anymore info you can give us on the error message?
Have you installed any new hardware recently?
This type of error indicates numerous possibilities. The most common though is a conflict with the network card or memory that is faulty or incompatible
First I would run Memtest86 under my signature to see if the memory passes.
Also I would check the BIOS to see if the IRQ are set to auto.
Thanks,
Bill

Re: Blue screen error

If the above doesn't work I would stip your hardware down to the keyboard, mouse and monitor and then install 2000. After it has installed, i then would add any devices such as network cards and the like. good luck
