Confused BSD: Inaccessible boot device

Nowadays I get this Blue screen of death most of the time when I start my computer.

*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0x818B51B0, 0xC00000010, 0x00000000,0x00000000)
INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE
If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen,
restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. remove any newly installed
hardware or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive
to make sure it is properly configured and terminated.
Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive curruption and then
restart your computer,

Refer to your Getting Started manual for more information on
troubleshootingStop errors

The Operating system installed in my computer in Win2000 SP4. I have recently formatted and re-installed the OS and all the S/Ws to get rid of the problem but it again reappeared today. One of the solution is to run Recovery console....which settles the problem but after a day the problem returns. There has to be a permanent solution to this. There are ceratin things that makes me sure that the BSD will appear. They are: system boots properly but hangs midway or shows some DiskI/O error or shows a message that a proper boot device was not found. Next when I restart the BSD appears and then everytime I restart the BSD rules!!!!!!
I need a solution please. I've checked so many websites but not becoming sure for what to do. I use Nod32 antivirus and Avg antispyware.....they show everything is alright. But I know it isn't .

Hi and welcome to TSF.
Have you tried to run any hardware diagnostics to check that side of things.
