Windows 2000 pro help
I recently borrowed a dell laptop with windows 2000 pro on it from a friend. When i first started it, it came up on the screen that says this computer is in use and has been locked. I didnt know the password, so i just held down the power button until it turned off. When i rebooted, it came up with the dell screen, as usual, then the windows startup screen. Then, after the bar reached the end, the screen flashes and shows an error message at the top for about a tenth of a second. It's too fast for me to read, all i could really tell was something about a system error. After this, it tries to restart itself again, and it will continue to do this until i turn it off. Any ideas?
