Limited Virtual Memory error in Win2k
My clone drive contains this same error again. Writing over the drive didn't fix the problem.
The reads reads as in the subject line, then informs of a paging error. Either paging file is too small or non-existent. It then gives instructions to fix but does not proceed to load and so no fix can be done. Does the OS need to be reinstalled? The source disk still works fine. The clone program is Ghost 7 run from floppy disk. |

[Solved] Re: Limited Virtual Memory error in Win2k
Quote:
I meant to do this days ago. This problem I got solved from a Microsoft repair step: It worked because I clone the drive and then started using it to boot off. Do Not back out or restart, do just as it says by zeroing the mem and then going back to system. Extraordinary system failure can result of you zero the memory and not reset it. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/257758 I forgot how to mark the thread solved.
