Explorer window freezing?
hey, I'm just curious about this problem I've had for a while now; I have a folder filled with 10 videos or so, all about 200mb in size and whenever I try to drag and drop one or click any of them the window itself just freezes up for no apparent reason and I have to end explorer with the task manager to get it to close out or do anything with it at all..
A little info would be nice, thanks :) |

Re: Explorer window freezing?
Hi Jofus
![]() May I ask, how much RAM do you have in your system? The large files are trying to be read by Windows but the Explorer program has trouble reason about 2000 Mb all at once. Then when you click on any it will try and execute both at the same time. It slows down and bam, thats where your Explorer crash comes from. |
