I've loast all sound!
Hi all
Last night half way through playing some mpeg's I lost all sound. I've checked all connections and they are all secure and re-booted but still nothing. I have AC97 onboard sound so it can't be a duff/loose sound card? Any ideas. Mark |

Yep I've had to re-install drivers and it's fixed it. While I'm on the subject of audio how do I specify what applications I want to open what audio/visual files I have. For example I want Windows Media Player to open all mpegs, avis, movies etc and Winamp to open all mps, wave,cd etc. I've just updated Real player and now it wants to open everything but it is so bloody slow!!
Cheers guys Mark |
