Thx Flye PS: I have Norton, AD Aware, and spybot ... nothing is picked up but one thing though. Norton can't scan boot record? Maybe a virus there? How do I check me boot record for virus. |

Re: self shutdown????
Your not on a network are you? And if so it really could be the admin shutting you down as I do it occasionally to users. If you arent you can go to start run type command and hit enter from there type shutdown -a it will cancel it Give that a try. Not sure exactly if it will help. Also if you arent on a network there was a known issue about that. Although now that I think about it 2k didnt ship with shutdown.exe so well err try that and if it doesnt work disregard anything I said.
