I'm looking for any suggestions regarding remoting into a win2k pro box - just like you can with XP Pro's Remote Desktop.
I realise that this feature isn't present in 2k and that the obvious solution would be to use XP, however for various reasons I don't want to do this (yet...) So far I've got 2 options:
However, these don't really meet my requirements, as with the 2k server it'll create a new session (I just want to be able to login to the pc for email etc) and with the vnc you can't leave the actual physical pc 'locked' when using it remotely. I can't think of any way round this - but any suggestions or info on what other people do would be really grateful - cheers! |

Uh oh.

Try www.logmein.com, select the free version. Works great but you can only LOCK it once you are finished... I don't think it will lock it while you using it... but you certainly can leave it locked when you are done. It's also nice because you can add a whole bunch of computers to one profile. I have 12 in my profile.
