Google "open source convert mp3 wma" ... there are a ton of options, but I can't recommend any as I never used them.

Thumbs Up

I use wavepad for exactly that purpose, it's great and simple and allows you to edit them as well, the free version is all you need, does the same as the full version minus a few things, but is all you need.

>>>Main Site<<< but I had a few problems connecting at first.
>>>Working Download<<< if the first link doesn't work.

I use a program called Switch, found here: http://www.nch.com.au/components/switchsetup.exe. This program can convert several different audio media types back and forth. Best of all, it's FREE. What beats that?

I forgot that Switch and Wavepad are both in the same package. Thanks for the reminder! LOL

FlexiMusic Wave Editor would do this conversion. Play the Mp3 file in the software, from file menu, choose “Export to WMA" option, here choose the bit rate of your choice and click "ok" to save the files as WMA. To convert Mp3 to WMA need to install a separate command line encoder. "WM8EUTIL.exe" encoder will be of use
