Can't get D-Link wireless card to connect to wpc54g linkys router
Hey guys a friend of mine has an old compaq presario hooked up with a D-Link DWL-G510 airport g card and the comp in the basement has a linksys wpc54g router hooked up to windows xp. The d-link card is in the presario which has windows 2000 pro. Now i was told if you do not have the wzc service that xp comes with to run wireless, then windows 2000 pro won't see the wireless. If this is true how do i install the service on windows 2000? If not any advice on how to get this damn card to see the router?
Thanks guys |
