Computers with xp announce they're master servers

My Win2000 server recieves errors that some computer on network announced itself as a master server. it only happens with computers with XP windows. How to ignore these announcements? or maybe how to disable them? Thanks

Check this page from Microsoft, you can set the registry key to inhibit specific machines from becoming master browsers. Note the stuff about the preferred master browser, that might be the way to go.
