Could anyone please help with this problem:
I am currently using Windows 2000. Upon startup I'm receiving this annoying message: msxmidi.exe Cannot Find The File 'msxmidi.exe' (or one of it's components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available. If I click on ok another box with a yellow asterisk appears that says: 'Desktop' Could Not Load or run 'msxmidi.exe' specified in the registry make sure the file exists on your computer or remove the reference to it in the registry. If I click ok on this box it seems that the computer loads with pop up ads etc. If I don't click on either of the boxes and press Ctrl-Alt-Delete and click on Task Manager and Applications, Msxmidi.exe is running. When I End Task msxmidi.exe both messages are gone, but they'll reappear when I start up Windows again. I've run McAffe Virus, Spybot, CWShredder but to no avail. Is there anyway to stop this message upon startup? Thanks in advance. Munich |
