Win 2000 printing problems

i have a problem with some ethernet printers on our
network. these printers have two trays and when i set the
printer (or any) to pint to tray two only, the setting
don't stay and reset to autoselect.

Is there a solution for this? I've tried permissions and
even making sure all the servers have the same settings.
loged user off set settings then logged them back on.

bit of info regarding network...
3 windows 2000 servers ( running AD native mode)
2 of the Servers run Citrix Metaframe XP
20 brother 1470N network printers.

if there is any ideas you can suggest will be greatly
appreciated.

If they're not exclusively managed by a server, I suspect it's pretty hard for the settings to stick.
