windows95 explorer.exe
my windows explorer (explorer.exe) has suddenly refused to remember how I want it to display. When I open it, it has reduced to a small window, and the view displays in the list mode. I want it to display in the details mode.
I reset it to the window size and the detail mode as I want to use it and as long as it is open all is well. But if I close it and then later reopen it, I am back to the small window and the list mode. It does not save my settings. How can I get it to save my settings? It always did without any special action on my part. Do I have to make changes in my registry? I have searched through my registry and don't see any obvious settings that would set it to how I want it to remain when I open windows explorer. Would appreciate any help. |
