rebooting
I used to be able to completely boot the computer when I turned it on. But then I temporarily added another user to my computer while a friend stayed with me for a few weeks. Then the computer would not completely boot on power up. It would pause in the middle to ask which user was logging in. Now my houseguest is gone, and I've deleted the extra user. But the computer still insists on pausing during the boot to ask me which user would like to log in, even though there are no more users. I just press the ESC key and it keeps booting. This is annoying. I like to press the power button when I wake up, take a shower, and come back to a freshly booted machine. Now it's a 2 step process. How do I tell the computer that there are no users? Just boot without pausing to ask me anything?
