Roll Eyes Startup Programs

When I go to msconfig. I go to startup and there are a few programs there that I have uninstalled and are no longer on my pc. How can I delete them from startup? I have deleted them from my registry.

Startup programs

lkzirk,

You were half way there, next time after you open msconfig click on the [Startup] tab and then remove the {Check Mark} from the box next to the programs that you don't want.

If there isn't a {Check Mark} in the box then it's back to the registry:

HKEY_Local_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\
CurrentVersion\Run- (Don't forget the minus sign.)

Then Right Click on the program under [Name] in the Right hand pane and click on "Delete" from the [DropDown Menu}.

Hope this helps, frankly it totally confused me.
