Display Colour Problem

I have a problem with colours displayed on my screen. When I go into Paint, the colour palet at the bottom left of the window shows almost all of the top row as Black. Also when I go into Settings/Control Panel/Display/Appearance and select Windows Standard colours, the title bar colour is black instead of blue and I cannott seem to alter it. Can anyone help please. Running Win98with P2 CPU, 3.5GB Hdd and 64mb Ram. .....Dave

Twisted

davidelnormal,

Have you tried clicking on the [Color] button on the {Menu Bar} in Paint and then selecting the [Edit Colors] option.

If this doesn't work let me know and I'll look for something more sinister.

G'Day Twas,
I used the colour edit function in Paint but, it is easy enough to change the colours in the Palet but when I shut the program down and re-opened it, the colours had all changed back to the way they were. Also, I could not find a way to alter the Base colours in the Colour Edit window. Any ideas?.......Dave

The problem was in the Monitor. I have installed another Monitor and all the colors are fine......Dave
