Hi I am running windows 98 first edition and I am having trouble with invalid win32 applications. After I did a dirty reinstall all the exe files went stright to invalid win32 apps can you help me?

After doing a re-install you registry is going to be wiped, so you will have to re-install programs like microsoft office and most applications. If its a standalone program and your getting those erros then it could be a virus, there are a few out there which currupt .exe files and give a simliar sort of message to the one your getting. Here's what i would, backup what you need to keep e.g documents, saved work and then do clean format and start again, if you dont want to do that then do a full virus scan on your machine or re-install the program if possible.
