Win98 / Internet Explorer prob after writing zeros

I wrote zeros to my hard drive recently, and reinstalled windows. The first thing I did was install the drivers for my network card so it would work and then I could begin downloading the files I need to get back up and running.

The only problem is that whenever I click on IE to get online it prompts this MSN crap that wants to help you get logged on the internet.

I know my connection works because I can use netscape. However, I do not want to use netscape.

Please give me your inputs, advice, opinions, strategies, game plans....

Instead of using the ICW on the desktop, just right-click on the IE icon and select properties. GO to the connections tab and click SETUP there. It should bring up the standard ICW instead of the MSN one.
