Dispay is messed up

I cannot change my resolution on in the Display. I try to move the slide bar but nothing happens. everything was working fine till i went into the video card driver and hit update driver. Once i did that the whole screen got messed up,..the colors are blurry and my icons are big. Is there a driver or something i can download to fix this? Also is there a way to update my Video card? First thing i really need to fix is the resolution it is driving me crazy as i cannot use the PC because of this

What were you thinking

What source was you going to use to update the drivers from?

You need to reinstall your video drivers to get your resolution back. Is this onboard video or a video card? You may have gotten some cds that came with the computer at the time of purchase. If this is a home built system you should have a motherboard cd. If its an adaper card you should also have a cd that came with it.

The video card is onboard. I went into my properties and went into video and hit update driver,..still don't know why i did it as it was working fine. Once i did that everything got messed up. I will try to see if i can get it to work tonight. this happened before but i forgot how i fixed it last time.

The slide bar for resolution won't move and my colors only will go to 16bit before it would go to 24bit true color.
