Internet pages not displaying correctly

Hi

Please can someone help me? On certain web pages, some images or links will not display. Instead a small white box (with a small red square in) appears in the top left corner of the where the image should be! I have tries to reset my internet setting but still no good. I am runnin WinME on IE6?

Anyone any ideas - I can mail a screenshot so you can see exactly what im talkin about!

Help will be greatly appreciated.

I believe that it is in the Internet Options on IE and then on the advanced tab. There is something about displaying images on webpages? If not you may have some third-party software which is blocking these images from appearing such as Norton internet security or Adblock or something similar. Sorry I cant really help because my IE is defunct :-(
