Blue Screens + Unexpected Restarts = High Drama

Hi,

Last week I had a problem with my computer only recognizing half of my RAM. Now tonight I've had a few blue screens (with such fatal exceptions as "0E occuring at 0028:ie516653" "0E occuring at 0028:c0167f64" "06 occurring at 0028:00000017" and "0E occuring at 0167:bff9dfff") and a couple of times my computer spontaneously restarted into a normal boot.

This is a sign of bad / faulty memory. How much do you have installed and how many sticks?

I have one 512MB stick though last week my computer was saying I had 256MB. I opened it too see if maybe it was loose so I toggled it and now it's back up to 512.

It probably wouldnt of hurt to remove the stick and reseat it.
