Hello and Welcome to TSF

Try this first

Run the System File Checker

Go to the Run box on the Start Menu and type in:

sfc /scannow ( sfc if not reconized)

This command will immediately initiate the Windows File Protection service to scan all protected files and verify their integrity, replacing any files with which it finds a problem. You will need your Windows cd.

When windows tells you that it cannot find program.exe what it means is that the type of file you are trying to open used to have a program associated with it and designated in control panel/ folder options/ file types as the default to pen that type of file; but the program in question has been removed but the entry in file types has not.
The solution here is if you know what new program you want to open that type of file (make sure that you choose a program which can open it) you select the file with a single left click , hold down the shift key and right click on the file and choose "open with " from the extended context menu . Select the program you want, check the "always use " box and click okay.
Or you can go to control panel/ folder options/ file types and delete the entry and windows will ask next time yout ry to open the file.
ddraw.dll (not ddraw.dl) woud be direct draw, part of direct X
You can get it free here
