Computer will not turn on? Help!

Hi
I recently moved and plugged my new computer in - power cord, etc. Monitor, speakers, mouse, etc. Well, My monitor will turn on, but my computer will not. Everything is plugged into the same surge protector and everything works fine, except the computer. It looks plugged in correctly and It is on a router - but when I flip the switch in the back of the computer - nothing happens and it is plugged in, etc.
Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? PLEASE!!!
THANK U!!
JESS

The switch on the back of the computer???

I think you are referring to the main power switch to the components. Just make sure that this switch is turned on, and then press the power button on the front of your computer
