When I try to copy or download a file from the Desktop onto a CD, a pop-window states:
Cannot create or replace "file.fileextension": Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is currently not in use. I made sure the file was NOT open, and the disk is certainly not full. I took the CD and tried copying a file onto the CD on my laptop and everything worked fine, so it must be the computer I'm using. Operating system is Windows ME. I think it could be a security setting on the computer regarding files. Any ideas on what's wrong here? |

what format is your burner in your desktop, CD-RW, CD+RW, what I'm getting at is if you burner is a CD-RW it will not write on a CD+R disc, if you burner is a CD+/- RW it should work on -R or +R disc's, hope this helps.
