Reinstall Windows??

Hi, new to this so please forgive me if I'm posting in wrong place...

A friend has asked me to uninstall her WinME and reinstall Win98 for her and I'm wondering if it's easy enough to do for a rookie like me...I can follow instructions well, but I'm not sure if I have to partition or do anything other than uninstalling one program and popping in the CD to install the other! Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello and Welcome to TSF

It is recommended you fdisk and format the drive before installing an O.S. with an existing O.S. installed.

All you need to do is boot to a boot floppy and type in fdisk. Delete the partition, creat a patrition, format the drive boot to the 98 cd just follow the prompts

Have all your ducks in a row before attempting to reinstall, better to know what your doing first before starting.
