Data Storage Enquiry.
Here's my quandry .... I have zip disks (about 42 of them in total) of data I've been storing (basically pictures) and my external zip drive went flop-bottom on me. I'm soon to purchase a new computer (Dell PC) and have been wondering how I can transfer my data to cd format. I don't want to purchase a PC with a zip drive because all I hear are complaints about how internal zip dirves up and die on you within a year or two. Why go thru all that hassle. Is there anyway I can transfer my data to a cd without jumping thru hoops of fire?

I'd look for a deal on a used external Zip drive and get the data off, once-and-for-all.
