help with lost of history and such

Hello I downloaded the program surfghoster and I had problems immediately freezing so I tried to uninstall it through add and remove programs and some how it made something worse it took my history away I cannot access history this comes up now

A sharing violation occurred while accessing C:/Program files / Surf Ghost/Temp/history/History. IE5/index.dat.

I thought by getting sufghoster back it would like with my history but it is still the same.

I don't have history, cache is not working and I tried to delete the surfghost folders and it won't let me because its part of windows. I get a lot of illegal operations now.

I don't know if I am in the right department if anyone can help please.

PS I notify sofo tex (the download website) and I tried to contact vendor and there email is not valid.

If during the uninstall if it asked you if you want to remove any shared files or dll's did you respond by saying yes?

This downloadable program is to be avoided at all costs. It will not uninstall....very sticky. Once it gets into your system, it holds on.
I've tried everything to get rid of it. It's also compromising the efficiency of my computer.

If anyone knows how to get this evil thing out of my system, please please help me! I'm going crazy!
