Internal Application Error in WM Player

Hello,

I have been helped by POADB in the HJT forum and was told to ask for help in this forum as well. I get an internal application error when trying to use Windows Media Player. With that IE is also not supporting Java. I am using 98SE. This has been a problem for sometime now. I have done many virus scans, but nothing seems to help. I hope you can help me.

Thank you.

My System

I don't know if this will work, but it's worth a try
Reinstall Windows Script 5.6 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en , reboot and try WMP again. If it's still not working, check your firewall to see if it's blocking scripts (java, active etc). Also, if you're using Norton Antivirus, there's a script-blocker in there as well.

Enabling should also help with the java problem in IE.
