if what purplesky gave you does not work, try this.

Go to the network control panel. At the bottom under login type, set it to Windows login. Reboot. It will come up one more time and ask for user name and password. Change the user name and leave the password blank. Now reboot agin. Should go right to the desktop.

and if neither of those work, try searching for files with the extension *.pwd and change the file extension from pwd to old. That way the user account system won't find any potential passwords to bring up a prompt to enter.

Isn't it PWL? The format would be {username}.pwl.
