PCI Bridge Error
Have a friend that has a Intel 82801AA Motherboard. She recently had a virus and ended up reformatting the entire harddrive. She said she has everything back up and running except she writes:
When I go to control panel, and click on system, and then on advanced config. and power interface, scroll down to PCI Bus, and click on Intel 82801AA PCI Bridge, I see two errors there with yellow question marks. They are: PCI Communication Device PCI Ethernet Controller How can I tell her to do? |

I do hope she loaded the motherboard disk after formatting, because some of those device drivers are on that disk. If not, then she needs to load those chipset drivers and other drivers that are on that disk. Then, go to Device Manager (Start, Control Panel, system, hardware, device manager, and then update the drivers for all items that have the little mark beside them as not functioning properly probably from lack of drivers. Give that a try and see what happens. |
