Copy selected songs

I have Win 98 s.e., Cserve 5.0.

I have copied two musical c.d.'s onto two cd-r 80 minute discs. I used adaptec easy cd creator 4 to do this. I put the original in drive d & the blank cd-r in drive e.

Is there a way to copy just certain songs from different cd's & then copy them onto a single cd-r disc?

Is it something that most novices can do?

Thanks for any info

This is a freeware program that can grab singles or whole album.

DeepRipper

The mp3 files are smaller, because their compressed, but will require more conversion when burning.
Wav's don't require as much conversion, but are larger files. So, depends if you have enough free space on hard drive.

I recommend you clean/defrag first, then copy, then burn. You might want to turn the burn speed down to a lower value too, to ensure a good burn.

Selected songs

Thanks Stu for the info on Deep Ripper. But I try to avoid d/l as much as I can.

Is there another way to copy single songs from a cd onto my cd-rw disc without d/l? For instance, using Adapted Easy Creator 4 to copy all the songs from a cd onto my hard drive. Then copying just the songs I want from my hard onto my cd-rw disc, & then delete all the songs from the hard drive?

This webpage might give you the info your looking for. Use it and EasyCD4's Help pages to go thru the steps.

Using Adaptec Easy CD Creator 4 to Copy A Music CD

Note, if you want to copy from several different CD's then after step 5. Extract And Save Your Selection (in directions given on webpage), has copied to the hard drive you can change to another CD and continue extracting.

(If it seems like a lot of mumbo jumbo, consider DeepRipper again, very easy to use. Deepburner is a clean site and DeepBurner/DeepRipper are execllent programs-and free too.)

I should mention also that for an audio CD use CD-R blanks not CD-RW's, so you can play it on any player.
