Color/Resolution Problem

Somehow the color settings on my computer were deleted, or removed from the Display Settings. The only color option I have now is 16 Colors which, as you can imagine, makes the computer very difficult to navigate.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? Or, why it would have happened in the first place? Any help is appreciated.

Hello and Welcome to TSF

If you have onboard video you are going to need your motherboard cd, if you have an adapter card you will need your driver cd to reinstall the drivers.
Go to the Device Manager and click on display adapter. Highlight the device name and right click and remove. Reboot the system, have your cd ready to put in the cd-rom when prompted to install the drivers.
