Saving Folder Settings...
Does anyone know the registry key(s) that store the view/sort settings for individual folders/windows in Win98 SE?
Thanks! ~P.J.Farrauto |

Hi R.B., thanks for your interest.
Actually, I was wondering if there was a reg. key that saved all folder view settings in one place. I have many folders that I've set up differently depending on their purpose. Some folders have the files sorted by name, for instance, others by type or date. Some folders I want to display large icons, others in list or detail view. Folders with .jpg's and .bmp's I display in thumbnail view. I would like to be able to backup these settings, since there are so many and every now and then when the system crashes and the registry gets warped, I have to set them up all over again. ~P.J.Farrauto |
