WIN 98 setup freezes on Sony Vaio
Hi
I need a dual boot on a new Sony vaio PCG 7A1M laptop I have. I made a Fat32 partition installed some software to chose what drive to boot from. Then started installing WIN 98 of the fat32 drive. All went well until it freezes when it starts setting up the plug and play devices. tried it seveal times and also tried WIN ME but it freezes in the same place. Had a look in the bios to disable some devices but theres no option in the bios for this. Anyone any ideas. regards TP |

What software are you using for dual boot?
Does your bios say anything about virus protection? If so, turn this off before reloading windows.
