Question No mouse pointer

When I start up my computer the pointer for the mouse does not appear.
I tested the mouse on another computer and it works fine on it. Also my background display looks fuzzy has if only every other pixel is being displayed.
Any ideas as to what the problem may be.

Roll Eyes mouse pointer response

The mouse is a microsoft mouse that
came with the computer system I bought.
And I have not made any changes to the system
since the start of the year when I replaced the
printer. I have had no problems with the printer.
Please advise as to what other info you desire?

I hope you are good with using your keyboard :D
lets see if this is a driver issue. control panel - mouse - hardware -properties - driver - update driver ( if it does thats good if it doesn't then uninstall/reinstall )

If this did not fix the we ll have to try to restore some stuff :D let us know pls.

Smile

Here is how I got my mouse pointer back. Under control panel I went to
System and the tabbed Device Manager. Under Device Manager I highlighted mouse in the drop down box and pressed enter. From there I went to Properties - Driver - Update Driver. The system responded that I had the recommended mouse driver already in use but there existed other usable mouse drivers. It provided me with a list of one other mouse driver and I installed that to be the mouse driver I preferred. This other driver returned my mouse pointer to me. PS. I had problems with my display also so I eventually had to re-install the drivers and operating system that initially came with the computer. This solved my display problem and also fixed the problem with the recommended mouse driver.

Thanks for your assistance. Case Closed.
