Relocation of OE files - Is it possible?
I am aware since long ago that the files of Outlook Express are by default located at a location like this:
C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Identities.... Everytime I reinstall my operation system I have to backup all those files in that folder because I cannot relocate the files. So, dear all, is there any way I can relocate those files so that I do not need to back them up before I reinstall my OS? |

Hello and Welcome to TSF
If you first fdisk/format, then install the O.S. that is the only way to keep that info. Why are you reinstalling your O.S. so often?

Thanks for your reply.
I just want to find a reliable way to keep the email files of OE because after using for a long time, the total file size is very large. I try my best not to keep important files in C drive where the OS is. I think I should rephrase my question: I do not want the OE files to be put in the default location. Is there anything I can do? |
