can't receive pictures or attachments in outlook express
i have already gone to tools and there is NO "tick" in the "do not allow attachments" etc. i'm operating on win98, and not very computer literate..so any simple instructions etc. would be appreciated..thanks

What exactly do you mean with "you cannot receive pictures or attachments" ?
Does this means you cant open them when an e-mail with attachments arrives or if you get an e-mail that you know had attachments they are removed ?

Sarkast - I believe it's your second option
Try this: Go to Tools->Options, click on the security tab, and uncheck the box that reads "DO not alow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus". Note: Be sure that you are running a dependable antivirus program that scans all incoming and outgoing email before making this change! |
