reinstalling windows ME

I am trying to format my hard drive and reinstall windows on my micron pc. I reformatted and am now trying to boot the computer from the windows recovery cd I have. It worked for a few seconds but now I keep getting an message that it can't read drive A. Why is it trying to read drive A? How can I get it to stop this and to finish installing windows?

A is usually the Driver letter assigned to your floppy drive. do you need any floppies when installing? or do you know if there are any driver diskettes that are with the reboot CD? could it be that your FDD cables are disconnected?
