File not found

I am trying to do a system restore on a Compaq 1693 (Win98). All goes well until the PC boots. After loading the CD-ROM driver I get the message "file not found C:\CPQDRV\*.*" and the screen just stops there and doesn't finish booting. The restore disks that I am using worked once about two years ago. Any suggestions?

hmm. have you contacted manufacturer to get replacement disk?
