Re: Lost Product Key for Windows 98 Upgrade Disk
i don't beleive there is a dos version of jellybean.
also, jellybean can only reveal the install key on a computer that has a windows installed to it. if win98 is not installed on the computer you're working on, then jellybean can not help you. the cd key is NOT on the cd anywhere, so there's no way to read it off of there, you MUST have a windows computer that was installed with your win98 upgrade cd to obtain the key for it. sorry we can't help more. :(

Re: Lost Product Key for Windows 98 Upgrade Disk
Hi Hydra,
The Microsoft 98 Upgrade and Install disk only runs in DOS. Can be started from windows, but still runs under DOS. If you can boot to DOS just navigate to the CD drive and type SETUP, enter, or type X:\SETUP if you know the CD's letter (X=the letter). Good Luck, Jim Jim |
