Well, there's an easy way but the question is: why you would want to do that? :/

because until just the other day there was no requirement for this supervisor password and now there is..and since i am the only one using this computer at the moment i see no need for it..i am stumped at how it all of a sudden is now required when previously it was not...although my daughter did have access to the computer a few days ago.

start>run>regedit

Browse to:

hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\current version\policies\ratings

In the right panel you'll see a value called 'key', delete it and go to the content advisor options, it'll ask you for a new password, just leave it blank. If you are trying to bypass a restriction imposed by someone else, they'll catch you.

Go into the control panel/user accounts and where it says 'pick a task' click 'change the way users log on and off'. Then tick the 'use the welcome screen' and this will stop you having to use passwords. You have to have administrators rights for this. [This applies to XP, sorry I just noticed your OS, it could be similar for yours tho']
