INTEL 82801 USB Universal Host Controller

This is listed in Device manager under Universal Serial Controller.
Is this right? Should I not remove it? (Will it reinstall?)

That seems to be the onboard usb controller, so i cant see anything wrong with it nor a reason for removing it.

Regardin your second questions, yes, Windows will detect it and install it again in case u remove it.

I didn't realize usb would be listed as a serial device.
