System Alert

Help! My computer has been warning me that my system has become unstable because the memory is full. Also at times I can't open new program, it tells me I need to quit some programs before running. I checked my memory--there's plenty there. Now I'm having trouble updating my virus definitions on Live Update. I did it manually but Norton found no viruses, any suggestions??

Is the alert for memory or hard drive space (storage)?

This may be due to some errors in Hard Disk..........You can do the following

Detect The harddisk manually while booting

Try Running Scandisk
