Autoexec.bat question
Hi, I have a laptop that I bought secondhand with win 98. I noticed that during the boot process the error :Bad command or file name occurs in response to the following line in autoexec.bat: -
call c:\MS\SMS\DATA\client.bat Is this important, or would it matter if I delete the line in Autoexec. Thanks, Derek |

I suspect that's left over from an old application. If the system runs normally now, deleting that line will have no effect on it's operation.
