Re: hp desktop

Pretty bad???
Considering the people here (and on other computer help forums) are invariably volunteers who also hold down a full time job, I don't think there is any cause to complain.
Though I don't expect you to bother reading the following, it may help someone viewing this thread in the future:

Boot up and, at the blue HP screen, press F10 to bring the Recovery Menu up (this runs from a hidden partition on the hard drive}. Click Next, then Yes and the recovery process should start.

Re: hp desktop

Yes, Please keep in mind that none of us who work on these support forums are paid for what we do. Our efforts are on an entirely volunteer basis, and if we're away from the forums for any amount of time, that means that our real-life responsibilities haven't left us with any free time to dedicate to our work here.

Good luck

Re: hp desktop

the message "os not found" may be appears due to following reasons:

The basic input/output system (BIOS) does not detect the hard disk.
The hard disk is damaged.
Sector 0 of the physical hard disk drive has an incorrect or malformed master boot record (MBR).

to resolve this problem plz contact your manufacturer of the computer
